Blog on a Blog

#2: What is Reich trying to accomplish in this blog entry?
Robert Reich, the author of the blog, is simply trying to prove a point and disprove other points, through simple reasoning. He first states what people believe to be the cause of why the number of highway deaths have gone down, but through simple reasoning he explains why they have really gone down, making us as the audience realize how oblivious people are to what is in their face.
#3what is reich's attitude toward the topic and the audience?
He seems very interested in the topic, but more than anything it seems like he wants to inform many oblivious people, and disprove what others have said. Honestly, it made me get more into the blog itself, instead of the all serious tone that most writers carry, this author makes us go "ohhhh, now i get it!!!" or "DUH!!!!"
#6 ...How do you respond to this sentence?
Well i wasn't like offeded or anything, because Reich made it clear through his way of writing that it was intended for all the people who had made it seem like the number of highway deaths decreasing, were caused by something other than the economy.
#8 How credible does Reich seem in this blog entry? Why do you think that?
Robert Reich seems more than crediblem simply because he first presents the blog with statistics and hypothesis made from people other than himself, he states facts, and later gives his own opinion on the whole subject. Reich also states things that we're all familiar with, making us relate to the whole subject.
#9 why does Reich mention the national highway safety administration in the first paragraph?
He mentions it because they are the firsts one who stated the effect and later he goes on to expand the "causes" of this effect, it also makes his blog seem more credible because he actually took information  from people who go on years of research and statistics, and present them to the public.
